THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
The Board of Directors of the Development Agency of Lemnos S.A. – Development Agency of Local Authorities S.A. consists of nine members. Three members are appointed from within the Local Authority institutions, three from the Agricultural Cooperative Union and three are elected by the shareholders’ General Assembly. The agency is represented by the Chairman of the Board, Nikolaos Kriaris and the agency’s Managing Director, Nikolaos Myrmigos.

The Board of Directors represents the Agency and is competent to make decisions for every act concerning the Agency’s administration, the management of its property and the achievement of its objective. In general, it decides on every issue concerning the Agency, except for issues, which are subject to the competence of the General Assembly, as set out by Law or its Statute. Furthermore, it is competent to establish the Management Committee of the Community Initiative LEADER and define the authorities this Committee.
MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE OF COMMUNITY INITIATIVE LEADER
The Management Committee of the Community Initiative LEADER, established under decision of the Board of Directors of AN.E.L. S.A. consists of six (6) members. Institutions representing the interests of the area’s public sector participate in decision making to an extent of 40%, and economical and social partners to an extent of 60%.
